    Next thing you know, Microsoft will ditch Longhorn in favor of MicrOSX- looks half as nice and crashes twice as much!! Built upon the lovely and compact FreeDOS kernal, of course!!

    This comes up every year. Apple to switch to Intel, Apple to release OS X for x86, Apple’s processors are as fast as they can get, Beleaguered Apple and the Deathwatch…blah blah blah etc. etc. I’ve been following Apple long enough to see the trends. It’s not going to happen.

    Yeah, I mean, look at XBOX 360 and the PS3… PPC chips there. So, it’s anybody’s guess. But, when the Wall Street Journal steps in, I guess the rumor suddenly gets more merit, for some reason.
