Fear of E-Mail

Friday, November 26th, 2004

Yesterday was the first time in a long time where I intentionally avoided my e-mail. Even as I write this I am trying to not pay attention to my e-mail.

I usually don’t feel like this, but I just fear checking my e-mail right now. It usually just means more work for me and I don’t want to deal with it. But, today I opened it and I didn’t even want to look at it. I just didn’t. Maybe when I get back to Seattle things will be different. I hope.

    I know EXACTLY what you feel like because I have done it before. I hate that feeling but I guess e-mail has to be checked sometime. :/

    Hah. I know how that feels, except I’m waiting for an e-mail from a specific someone, I keep checking, and all I get are stupid e-mails that mean I’ve got to do more work.
