    It should be noted that XHTML as a paradigm is alive and kicking. Validate your code, kiddies.

    Yeah, I think that XHTML is good for markup, but reading this doesn’t really make me think otherwise. Cleaner markup just makes it easier IMO.

    Cleaner code/script/markup good. Yeah, all of my handcoded pages I mark up as XHTML - well, kinda. I always forget the DOCTYPE declaration!! That’s why the creator made DreamWeaver, I suppose.

    This article is stupid. If you used his rationale, there are a lot of “dead things” in the world. If you ask me, HTML has been dead ever since FrontPage came out (using his logic).
