Tuesday, September 28th, 2004Art or graffiti? City will decide - I saw this mural being made in the U-District over the summer and I think that it is pretty amazing. I also understand the side of the city too. It’s just too bad that something like this had to happen.

Yeah, seriously. They did such a good job on it, especially because of the variance in styles. It’d be too bad if they did paint over it.. and then tagged up, heh.

YESYESYESYYES that is so shitty if they decide to paint over it. It was great to see it progress during the past few months, all the way from outlines to full on color designs. I love that mural, esp. cuz you see it everytime you take the bus downtown, and it would be such a shame if they paint over the “graffiti”. I mean, seriously, they should know that graffiti is a form of art too. GG CITY OFFICIAL NUBS!!!!!!

Wow, that mural looks really nice. I haven’t seen it irl but man, it would be a shame if they took it down by painting over it.
