Amazon Wishlist Plugin Update
Sunday, October 30th, 2005There’s been a minor update to the Amazon Wishlist Plugin for Wordpress. This brings it up to version 0.3. It’s a suggested update for all users since Amazon has recently updated their required fields for the use of their API.

Sorry Frank!
I seem to have uploaded the update without all the right files!
Also, you’ll have to activate two plugins (Amazon Wishlist and XML Parser Class)

Love the plugin. Is there a way to sort the array by priority, and not by date added? I’m not really a coder, just kinda stumble my way though. Thanks for any tips!

I can’t seem to get the plugin to work. I think it’s something to do with the XML class. When I try to load the page it just times out. If I deactivate the XML Parse plugin the page will load. Any ideas?

Plugin suggestion - Would it be possible to display multiple wish lists? For example, I would like to display my wishlist and my wife’s…perhaps with a link at the top of the page to switch between the two.
Or, perhaps, it could be linked to WP user accounts?
Thoughts?

@Kyle - Let me look at their API and see if rating is returned, it might be, but I need to investigate.
@Brian - That’s a scenario that I never really thought of. I’ll have to think over how I’d get that to work. I have an idea right now in my mind, but I’ll need to see how I could implement it.

Ryan,
Can it recognize items that have already been purchased and remove them?

Yes, it should, since once an item is purchased it is removed from your wishlist.
