CES Videocasts

If you’re interested in gadgets, you’ve probably heard of CES. If you haven’t already been keeping up on all the greatest and latest gadgets on sites like Gizmodo, then you might want to check out some of the work being done by the folks at Digital Life TV.

I just finished watching about two and half hours of video casts from DL.tv and they covered lots of the cool stuff from the show. You can catch Thursday, Friday, and Saturday on-line and download them to your computer. Also, if you are interested in all of the keynotes (except for google) from the show, be sure to check out all of them on PC Mag’s site.

Oh, also, if you you remember the days of The Screen Savers on the now defunct Tech TV, DL.tv is a good podcast to subscribe to.

My Eyes!

I decided that in this new year I would take care of some things that I didn’t do last year. One of these things was getting my eyes checked.

I had this feeling that my vision at night was getting worse than it used to be. So, I decided to get my vision checked. After getting my eyes checked this morning, my vision is still as it has been, 20/20. I guess my mind is playing tricks on me. But, when they did my eye health check, they put these drops in my eyes and it made them feel really heavy. Kind of like I got punched in both of my eyes. It feels great, really.

Happy New Year!

Last year was one of big change for me as I predicted last year. I graduated from UW with a B.S. in Informatics and enjoyed the ceremonies in June. I looked for a job. I was hired by Avanade in their Delivery Management Practice. I turned 23. I saw the Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge. I went to Vegas for the first time. I went to Canon Beach for the first time. I got my first car. I got a new camera and a new lens. Lastly, but definatly not least, I made some great friendships and am still surrounded by great friends and family.

Now, I’m not one for making predictions, but I think that this year will be a year of opportunity and there will be challenges along the way. However, through it all, friends will be there and I will still be connected to them, more then ever.

So, with that, I wish you all a happy and prosperous 2006!
