Can She Take a Shot?

Last night was Darrin’s 22nd birthday and to celebrate we went to Red Robin for dinner then headed back to his place to place cards. The rule that we had was as follows: If you get out, you take a shot. Or, if you are shady like Sean and try to bet with the button you have to take one anyways. So, once Jamie got out it was her turn and this animated GIF is what occured. Now, keep in mind that what is in that glass is peach juice with a drop of vodka. Yeah, a drop. Refresh to see the GIF animate again. The last frame is the best.

Biking Excursion

Today Jamie, Anthony, and I made the trip from the U-District all the way to the Redmond Town Center. We took the Burke Gilman Trail for the 20 mile trek. That distance is only one way. Our total trip distance was 40 miles!

I have not biked in a long time and it was nice to get back out on the trail again. It is different than biking in Minnesota, but nonetheless it was a really good time. It was cool to get out, bike, and enjoy the weather. The ride was longer than I had expected and I am hurting all over right now, but it was way fun. I am sure that we will do this more in the future. I’m off to watch a movie right now, but I leave you with some pictures from the day.

Harry Potter 3

Last night was the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with the crew from Stevens Court. We saw the movie at the Majestic Bay Theatre in Ballard. This movie theatre has to be one of the nicest in the Seattle area. What made me enjoy it even more was when the owner came into the theatre before the movie was shown and personally welcomed us to his theatre and spoke about its history. It is personal attention like that which makes me want to go back to a place like the Majestic Bay. So, last night was spent at a kickin’ theatre watching a kickin’ movie.

Night of Troy

Went and saw Troy with the info crew on Saturday night. I mean, we only had to sit out 3 sold out showings of it until our 10pm showing. But, it was a good movie. Not knock your socks off like Gladiator was the first time you saw it (or every time in my case). But, it was a very good story. It makes me want to read up on the mythology of it this summer. I think that is one of the things to add onto the list of things that I want to do this summer. But, yeah… Good movie. I’m sure that I’ll end up purchasing the movie when it comes out. No night is complete without some pictures of the event of the night… or us screwing around in Starbucks. I mean, is there really a difference? I would like to think not.

Nice Day

Man, was it nice out today or what? Seriously. This is why Spring quarter at UW is impossible. The sun comes out and you have no desire to go to class. But, nevertheless I made my rounds today. It was nice to be able to just hang outside and just enjoy the weather over some Caramel (Care – a – mel) Rumble with Jamie after class. But, in other news, I was hit by a car today on my way to the IMA with Kony for my intramural soccer game. Yeah, it was exciting. For more great stuff click on.
